How can we help? 👋

History Screen

The History Screen is where you can see your entire stoic journey.

It’s the final tab in the navigation bar — your space to track progress, monitor your mood, and view all the insights stoic gathers from your journaling activity over time.

Tracking Your Progress

At the top of the screen, you’ll find a selector that lets you choose how your data is displayed:

Days / Weeks / Months / Years / Smart.

Use these options to decide the time frame for viewing your progress. Depending on your choice, stoic will show you:

  • The number of entries you’ve created
  • The total words you’ve written
  • Your memories and reflections, organized by the selected time period

Next to this selector, you’ll see the filter icon (three lines). Tap it to open filtering options — you can choose exactly which data you want to include in your view.

Trends & Insights

When you’re viewing your history by Days, you’ll notice an Insights card at the top of the screen. In its top-right corner, tap See All to open the Trends screen for a deeper look into your progress.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Mood and activity charts for a visual overview of how you’ve been feeling
  • Mood breakdown and emotions analysis to help you understand your patterns
  • Health data such as sleep duration, fitness activity, mindful minutes, and time spent in daylight — powered by Apple HealthKit
  • A calendar of completed exercises, so you can see your consistency over time

💡 To see Apple Health data in stoic, you’ll need to allow access to HealthKit. You can do this easily by tapping Connect to HealthKit directly on the Trends Screen.
